Rushi Shahiwala is a board certified Orthopedic physical therapist and a Director of Texas Star Rehab and Sports Performance Center. He has been involved with a healing of hundreds of people including pro athletes in Canada and USA for more than 21 years.
He is a creator of “Fitzone360”, All in one Fitness website, also he is an owner of “GYMGUYZ North Dallas” . He was a founding Director of “ New York Sports Science Lab”.
Rushi has been training and treating various pro athletes and Olympians in all sports for many years including world class Boxers, UFC fighters, Golfers, Cricketers, Tennis Players, NBA and NFL players, Fencers, Athletes, Swimmers , Ice hockey players on top of treating all patients for pain, trauma, post op rehab etc.
He was a team leader at “Olympic Center, USA” appointed by National Geographic to analyze previously Olympic winner in various sports to show the difference between them and average athletes in a sports video series televised by National Geographic in 2016.
He also has been televised in 2008 in Canada for his interview about “Health benefits of using video game in clinical setting”.
He was a committee member and chief therapist to set up course curriculum of “Health and life style Management” program at Durham college, Oshawa, Canada.
Rushi was a Clinical Instructor for Columbia University, NY and Queens University, Canada.
He was affiliated with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS)( #1 orthopedic hospital in USA) as an Advanced Hip Clinician.
Rushi has taught Education course/ seminar of “Soft Tissue Release” in India and has given Webinar on various treatment technique
After spending a decade in Toronto, Canada and almost a decade in NY, he has just has recently moved to Texas in Collin county where he is providing all prehab and rehab services.
In spare time, he enjoys exercises, rock climbing, Tennis.
Rushi was a therapist for “ All star Cricket League” with Sachin Tendulkar played in USA
