Sumant Vedpathak

( PT, DPT)

Sumant Vedpathak is a highly experienced Physical Therapist with over 13 years of clinical practice treating patients with orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, post-surgical conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. He earned his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Manipal University, India, with a specialization in Adult Neurorehabilitation.

During his postgraduate training, Sumant developed a strong interest in academic research and presented at local, state, and international conferences. This passion led him into academia, where he served as a Lecturer and later as an Assistant Professor at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India.

After relocating to the United States in 2015, Sumant continued to advance his clinical expertise by completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at A.T. Still University. He also obtained specialized certifications in LSVT BIG Therapy, Graston Technique, and McKenzie Method.

Sumant recently moved to Texas and is excited to be part of the team at Texas Star Rehab and Performance Center. He is a compassionate, patient-centered clinician whose goal is to help patients achieve optimal outcomes in the shortest time possible.

Outside of work, Sumant enjoys spending time with his family, exploring nature through hiking, and occasionally attending karaoke nights with friends and loved ones.
