I no longer have hand pain!

Hello! My name is Nita K C. I have been seeing Dr. Rushi at Texas Star Rehab and Performance Center for my right-hand pain for a month. It has been a pleasure to meet with Dr. Rushi and his staff! To share my story, my right hand was in pain for a month due to my studying at home. My doctor diagnosed it with Elbow Tennis, so he referred me to Dr. Rushi for therapy. The first time I met Dr. Rushi, he was so empathetic with my health concern. He actively listened to my story, comforted me, and assured me with his kind words that it was going to be healed soon. Furthermore, he said that I may not need any injection or surgery. That was a HUGE relief to me! Since I started my therapy, I have been going there for 2-3 days a week. Every time I go there, I feel welcomed, treated respectfully, and receive the best care for my hand. I begin with some hand exercises, then I receive deep tissue massage followed by other treatments. It takes an hour to complete the whole session each day! All of those activities have been so helpful in strengthening my muscle and reducing pain. I am pleased and grateful to Dr. Rushi and his staff for my continued hand therapy. I am confident that I will be free from my hand pain soon. I highly recommend Dr. Rushi at Texas Star as he is an awesome person and an amazing therapist! Thank you so much!

Hands down the best physiotherapist in Dallas and possibly the US! Literally helped me walk again after getting injured back in October 2021 with a peroneal nerve (foot drop) injury.

For the first time in three years, I feel as though my neck and shoulders are healing!

I have been seeing Dr. Rushi for the past 2 months. I can say that for the first time in three years, I feel as though my neck and shoulders are healing! I also see him and Aimee for my knee pain. From the office staff to the PT- you will always have someone assisting you and making sure that you are well when you leave.

I am back to using my shoulder without experiencing pain!

Came in for a repetitive stress injury in my right shoulder that hadn’t cleared up after about three months (and seemed to be getting worse). After about four weeks of treatment it was back to the point where I could use my arm for light work with little to no pain, and another few weeks until the pain was basically completely gone. The staff is very knowledgable and professional, and I highly recommend this place to anyone needing physical therapy.

After a few sessions of Visceral Manipulation I have seen a lot of improvement.

I was referred to Rushi because of my severe abdominal pain after 2 laparoscopic surgeries that caused excess scar tissue. “Rushi Shahiwala is a great physiotherapist. My mom had a frozen shoulder and her right hand was 70% inoperable. One of my colleague recommended him, so I took my mom at his brand new facility. Within few mins and he diagnosed that it’s her neck and spine which is causing this as her age and arthritis is playing role. His ability and proven work experience speak on behalf of him. He said to not take any medications and within 3-4 sessions and he would make my mom’s pain go away.

Facility is spacious and clean and lots of new equipment. Rushi Shahiwala is very friendly and easy to talk with.

“BEST PT OUT THERE!!! Rushi is personable, relatable, and truly cares about his patients. My significant other came to Rushi with issues with her knee mobility. She works out on the daily and is very active. Right off the bat, he was able to address her problems through his advanced testing, take the time to thoroughly educate her, and immediately have a plan in action. Without compromising her normal regimen, Rushi holistically implemented workouts and alternate stretches for her to do. With confidence, she was able to consistently encompass his methods. I went to Rushi and explained what was going on, he was able to help me with acupuncture and working out the stiffness in the area in just about 1-2 sessions. Rushi has magical hands.
